Bolens tube frame tractors were made for 16 years, most incorporating the same design throughout their production. Many parts are interchangeable from model to model, year to year. The first "tube frame" was built in 1962. Noticeably, the tractor is easily identified by it's two long tube cylinders that make up the nearly indestructible frame. 1978 was the last year of production. H14 OWNERS MANUAL Download		1969 was first year Bolens incorporated their patented "treadle pedal" hydrostatic into the tube frame line up. The 1969 model 1225 was a beast of sorts, easily able to out perform any comparable sized tractor on the market at the time. With it's large 12hp Wisconsin engine and single foot pedal hydro control, it could do more work in much less time than it's gear drive competition. The hydrostat model tubeframes were available until 1978. They just don't make them like this anymore.
